Interim Group Financial Controller – Leeds 2-3 days hybrid – fixed-term - £75k-85k If “get control of the numbers and don’t break anything important” sounds familiar, read on. This is a Group Financial Controller role in professional services business that needs experienced judgement rather than grand redesigns. You’ll own group consolidation, month-end, audit, and regulatory reporting, working closely with the Group Finance Director and leading a capable finance team. You’ll also be the friendly face (well, friendly if you like numbers) for auditors, tax teams, and regulators. You’ll help the Head of FP&A get the insights they need for budgeting and forecasts, report on capital adequacy, and evaluate potential growth opportunities all while making it look effortless. Oh, and VAT? Payroll? Working capital? You’ll handle those too, keeping the wheels turning so everyone else can pretend the finances are simple.
