CLASS 1 Day-shift Driver £17per hour based in Blantyre, Lanarkshire Mon to Sun operation working any 5/7 Regular work, ongoing each week ** Full time and part time shifts available ** We are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-known haulage company in Lanarkshire. The Role -You will be delivering general haulage loads to various locations throughout the UK Safely operate a HGV vehicleto transport goods to designated locations Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules Load and unload cargo, ensuring the load is secured Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance The Person Proven experience as a commercial driver Valid LGV1 licence, CPC and digital tachograph card Maximum 6 points on licence, no DR,DD,IN,CD endorsements Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety Strong communication and customer service abilities Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness Benefits include but not limited to - on site parking, holiday pay, canteen, temp to perm for the right candidate
