The Performance Marketing Lead will take ownership of planning, executing, and optimising paid digital activity across multiple channels; including Google, Meta, affiliates, and marketplaces. The focus will be on driving sustainable eCommerce growth, maximising ROI, and improving acquisition efficiency.
Working at both strategic and hands-on levels, the Performance Marketing Lead will collaborate with content, creative, and senior stakeholders to ensure all campaigns align with commercial objectives, brand positioning, and seasonal priorities.
Key Responsibilities in the Position of Performance Marketing Lead:
Develop and implement the paid media strategy across search, social, display, retargeting, and marketplaces.
Manage channel budgets to achieve commercial and ROI goals.
Refine keyword, audience, and bidding strategies for optimal performance.
Plan and execute structured testing across creatives, landing pages, and audiences.
Oversee performance across Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, affiliate networks, and marketplace channels.
Partner with creative and content teams to deliver impactful ad assets and messaging.
Ensure consistent brand alignment and communication across all digital touchpoints.
Track and interpret campaign data using Google Analytics and platform dashboards.
Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations to improve performance.
Monitor attribution models, conversion paths, and customer lifetime value to guide channel strategy.
Lead relationships with external agencies, ensuring alignment on KPIs and performance expectations.
Identify new technologies, platforms, and partnerships to enhance paid media efficiency.
Explore emerging platforms and advertising opportunities.
Continuously test and evolve targeting, creative, and conversion approaches.

To be considered for the role of Performance Marketing Lead, you will offer the following:
At least 5 years of experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally within eCommerce or retail.
Proven success managing multi-channel digital budgets and delivering strong ROI.
Expert knowledge of PPC, paid social, affiliate, and marketplace advertising.
Skilled in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and data visualisation tools.
Commercially minded, confident working with KPIs, ROAS, and budget optimisation.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento, and feed management tools, is desirable.
