Overview
We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for an Activities Manager to join our passionate and driven team at One Leisure. As the Activities Manager for One Leisure, you will play a pivotal role in driving participation and ensuring the success of our vibrant activity programmes. Reporting to the Leisure and Operations Manager, you will work closely with One Leisure Managers and centre-based teams to identify opportunities, provide guidance, and implement strategies that exceed financial targets. Your passion for people and commitment to fostering a fun and engaging environment will be essential in inspiring and motivating both staff and participants. With our leisure centres operating over 100 hours a week, flexibility in managing your time is crucial, as you will be expected to work two weekends out of every four and some evenings to meet the business’s needs.

Responsibilities
* Drive participation and ensure the success of vibrant activity programmes across One Leisure centres.
* Identify opportunities, provide guidance, and implement strategies to exceed financial targets.
* Lead and deliver activity programmes with expertise in health and fitness, swimming lessons, and recreational activities for children and adults.
* Innovate and adapt to emerging trends; develop engaging initiatives for our diverse community.
* Communicate effectively to ensure a welcoming and engaging environment for staff and participants.
* Collaborate with One Leisure Managers and centre-based teams to optimise programme delivery and impact.
* Work flexibly to meet business needs, including weekend and evening commitments.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Enthusiastic leader with extensive knowledge of leisure centre programming and a proven track record in managing and delivering successful activity programmes.
* Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
* A satisfactory DBS check is required for this post.
* Right to work in the UK is required; Huntingdonshire District Council does not offer sponsorship or a Certificate of Sponsorship.
* Hybrid working options may be available where possible; candidates should be within commutable distance of our offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, or able to attend meetings as required.
