Powertrain Certification Engineer - Emissions
Location: Crewe (Hybrid – Minimum 2 Days On-Site Per Week)Contract: Outside IR35

The role requires a blend of remote and on-site work (minimum two days per week in Crewe), with potential international travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead certification coordination, reporting, and documentation to meet critical project milestones.
* Manage parts procurement, test plans, and resource allocation for emissions and powertrain-related projects.
* Engage with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with international regulations.
* Supervise emissions testing in the UK and abroad, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
* Handle large volumes of technical data, solving complex challenges and providing critical engineering insights.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong knowledge of Powertrain, Body, Chassis, and Electrical Engineering in an automotive environment.
* Hands-on experience with Emissions Type Approval, Certification, and Legislative Compliance.
* Ability to develop, monitor, and execute detailed test plans with efficient resource management.
* Familiarity with automotive development processes and project management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
* Korean language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
* A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Willingness to travel internationally if required.
