**GW Highways Ltd are actively recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor based at our offices in Kings Hill, West Malling**

We are looking to recruit an individual who can add value, bringing professionalism and experience to the team. A positive, enthusiastic team player with a minimum of 5 years’ Highways Experience in a UK Commercial Role
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role involves Preconstruction Works, coordinating the surveyor’s functions and meeting management objectives whilst ensuring compliance with NEC suite of Contracts.
* Monitoring of costs & maximising value on schemes
* Term Service Contract Experience using SOR to produce Task Quotations
* Preparation of cost/value information
* Monthly review of accounts
* Financial assessments through to final agreement
* Assisting with procurement and other preconstruction activities
* Experienced user of EXCEL and CEMAR
* Keeping to all deadlines agreed
* Consistently working at a level to achieve the tasks required
* All correspondence acknowledged or actioned within a reasonable period
* All reports submitted within 1 day of close of reporting period
* Attend site visits to review progress, measure works, and assess risks
* Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications and RAMS
REQUIREMENTS
* BSc Quantity Surveying
* At least 5 years’ experience in the Construction Industry working under NEC conditions of contract
