Overview
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an Industry Placement Advisor to join us on a full time, permanent basis working term time only for 41 weeks of the year. The role is 37 hours per week over 41 weeks with a salary range of H19 £24,655.89 up to H22 £27,144.12 (full time equivalent salary would be H19 £26,784 up to H22 £29,487), dependent on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
* Act as a bridge between the professional world and education, supporting students in acquiring essential employability skills and securing high quality industry placements that fulfil the criteria set by both the college and awarding bodies.
* Engage with professionals from diverse industry backgrounds (e.g., recruitment, account management, or business development) who are passionate about student development and helping young people launch their careers.
* Work full time during term time with 11 weeks off per year; applications from candidates seeking part-time hours are welcome—please specify your preferred working pattern in your personal statement.
* Collaborate with external employers, which includes traveling to their locations and meeting them at their place of work to build lasting partnerships.
* Work mainly between Slough & Langley and Berkshire College of Agriculture campuses; hold a full UK drivers license. The college provides vehicles for official use, and possessing your own car for flexibility is advantageous.
