IFA Administrator / Paraplanner Support – Edinburgh

Our client, a well-established and highly respected financial planning practice based in Edinburgh, is looking for an organised and detail-driven IFA Administrator / Paraplanner Support professional to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a long-term career within financial services. The role offers hands-on experience supporting paraplanners and advisers, with a clear path toward progressing into a full Paraplanner position or becoming an expert administrator.
The role
As part of the support team, you will play a key part in keeping the advice process running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining and updating accurate client records
* Handling incoming communication and provider requests
* Preparing valuations, review packs and meeting documentation
* Assisting paraplanners with case preparation
* Submitting and tracking new business applications
* Ensuring all electronic filing and documentation is compliant and well organised
What we’re looking for
* Experience within financial services ideally within a similar setting, but not essential
* Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
* A proactive, professional individual with a willingness to learn and develop
