Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham to recruit a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual committed to supporting children's learning and development in a dynamic school environment.
About the Role
As an HLTA, you will play a key role across the school, supporting teaching and learning in a variety of classroom settings. You will deliver targeted interventions, support individual pupils, and provide whole-class cover during teacher PPA time. Confidence in classroom management and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
* Provide whole-class cover when required
* Support small groups and individual pupils to help them achieve their full potential
* Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of pupils' progress
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Proven experience within a primary school setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* The ability to motivate, inspire, and engage young learners
* A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
