Reporting into the Group Reporting Systems Manager, you will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the Group Finance SAP BPC group consolidation reporting systems and processes. The role is also key in supporting systems and reporting improvements to the benefit of the wider Finance community. Day to day mangement of Nomad’s SAP BPC group reporting and consolidation system (BPC FC). Perform the BPC related SOX controls. System and report/input form development as required. Ensure that training material and documentation is up to date. Deliver end user training. You will have a good understanding of SAP BPC and AFO-EPM for MS Excel and can support the finance community on the functionality of finance systems that fits the requirements of the end users and the needs of the business. You will also be required to work with Group IT and third-party suppliers on IT related matters that impact Nomad’s group reporting systems. Set up and manage reporting cycles using BPFs (business process flows). Revise and enhance the BPFs as required Manage BPC security ensuring that only authorised users have access Analyse current internal business processes and work closely with the Group Finance team to help re-engineer functions and improve efficiency Play a role in the implementation of new upgrades, functionality and system wide changes Aid in the design, testing and rollout of related systems and interfaces Maintain and enhance existing Excel AFO-EPM reports and input forms, and design and build new reports/input forms Troubleshoot system & reporting issues including data mismatches Manage BPC master data including the chart of accounts and reporting hierarchy Assist in documenting finance system process guidelines Provide ad hoc business and other related project support Testing new systems and providing input into their design Provide end user training and maintain training documentation Accountabilities Ensure that Nomad’s group reporting system (BPC FC) is set up and functions correctly. Ensure that only people correctly authorised have access to the group reporting system Ensure that group reporting system related controls are performed correctly and on time Essential 2 years of experience with accounting / finance systems Prior hands-on experience in implementing BPC as technical/functional analyst or managing BPC as an in-house super user AFO- EPM reporting skills to develop new reports/input forms BPC dimension maintenance BPF configuration/deployment BPC business rules Strong Excel skills (VBA useful) Working knowledge of financial statements and IFRS based accounting practices Basic understanding of financial and accounting concepts and terminologies Track record of achievement and of building positive working relationships, supported by excellent communication skills (written, spoken, presentation) Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Strong organisational skills, including ability to prioritise own workload in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge Strong understanding of data structures and their importance to the business Able to work with business finance resources to analyse business situation, understand business demand, create or understand business requirements and translate into a variety of outputs – business case, technical requirements and functional specifications, test plans, solution Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision Desirable SAP BW SAP ECC FI-GL and CO-PA (FI-CO) knowledge (or similar ERP) SAP S4 Hana SAP S4H Group Reporting BPC script logic.
