Job Purpose:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the daily care, learning, and development of children in our nursery. You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver a high standard of childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote development and learning.
* Observe and assess children's progress, sharing observations with the team and parents.
* Support children's personal care and hygiene needs.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe nursery environment.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and nursery policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent.
* Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or similar setting.
* Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
* Current paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
