The work you'll be doing
This is a great entry level position for proactive, organised and hardworking individual who is looking to gain experience working in a professional office environment. As a Facilities Assistant you'll help with first line support and administrative duties around the office.
Other responsibilities include:
* Requests for photocopying/scanning (text documents, plans etc.) completed accurately and within timescale requested
* Documents bound as required
* Replacement of printer/copier toners
* Paper stocks in photocopiers/printers replenished daily as required
* Initial investigation/rectification of problems with photocopiers/printers and fax machine.
* Calling and liaising with engineers.
* To ensure the Firm's archived records are recorded, stored and easily retrievable
* Maintaining files, deeds, and wills in their various locations
* Updating database
* Keeping files spreadsheet updated
* Retrieving files, deeds and wills and delivering as required
* Providing file review lists to fee earners and destroying files as instructed
* 2-3 mornings a week you'll support our Archives department (and during busy periods)
* Assist with morning post opening/scanning
* Collection and delivery of internal post throughout the day
* Dealing with hand-delivered items as necessary
* Taking delivery of items from couriers and forwarding as appropriate
* All Royal Mail and DX post sorted and franked ready for collection each evening

Our friendly Facilities team consists of a manager, a co-ordinator, assistant and archives assistant. The working environment is balanced with strong team players who also enjoy a good laugh
