Overview
Required for 10.00 hours per week. Here at McColls we pride ourselves on being the second largest multiple convenience operator in the UK. As a Store Colleague/Sales Assistant it will be your responsibility to ensure our customers receive the first class customer service that they have come to expect every time they visit one of our stores. It is also about talking to customers promoting various products through active selling. Please do not worry we will train you to do this. Other duties will include till and cash operation, stock control, merchandising and assisting the store management team by maintaining a clean and well-presented store at all times. We are looking for people who enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality customer service to shoppers in-store.
* Operate tills and handle cash transactions accurately.
* Assist with stock control and merchandising to maintain a well-presented store.
* Support the store management team in daily operations and upkeep of the store environment.
* Engage with customers to promote products through active selling.
