A top-tier offshore firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join its well-established Dispute Resolution practice in Guernsey. The team acts on complex, high-value disputes with an international dimension, representing financial institutions, corporates, investors and trustees across a wide spectrum of contentious matters. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated offshore litigation while providing a collaborative and progressive environment designed to support career advancement. The Role: Provide high-quality strategic and technical advice on contentious commercial disputes. Manage files with minimal Partner input and act as a key point of contact for clients. Develop recognised expertise in a specialist area and generate repeat work from existing clients. Supervise, mentor and support paralegals, trainees and associates. Contribute to knowledge management, publications and thought leadership initiatives. Take an active role in business development, client seminars and training delivery. Ensure effective matter management, billing and client communication in line with firm standards. Candidate Profile : Qualified lawyer with 5 years’ PQE, gained within a recognised onshore or offshore law firm. Solid experience in commercial litigation; insolvency and regulatory disputes experience advantageous. Strong academic background with evidence of consistent high performance. Excellent drafting, analytical and client communication skills. Commercially minded, organised and committed to building strong client relationships. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a team-driven culture.
