Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing
is seeking an experienced Commercial & Construction Energy Lawyer to join our customer’s in-house legal team within the energy and utilities sector on an interim basis.
This role will support infrastructure‑led renewable energy projects across commercial and public sector clients, providing hands‑on legal support during a period of increased project activity.
Prior energy sector experience is essential.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience advising on renewable infrastructure projects
* Strong commercial contracting background
* Working knowledge of:
* Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
* Energy supply agreements
* Private wire arrangements / ESCO structures
* Data and metering contracts
* Construction contract experience (EPC, O&M, framework agreements)
* In‑house or secondment experience preferred
* Experience working in a regulated environment
* Available to start at short notice
* Able to attend the office 1–2 days per week
Key Responsibilities
You will advise on the development, procurement, construction, and operation of renewable energy infrastructure projects.
You will support on a range of complex commercial and infrastructure agreements, including:
* Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
* Energy supply agreements
* ESCO structures
* Data and metering contracts
* Construction contracts (EPC / O&M)
