WA consultants are now recruiting for an experienced Software Automation and Test Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation delivering cutting-edge embedded software solutions.
This role will focus on the implementation, integration, and testing phases of the full software lifecycle, supporting the validation and verification of embedded software systems within a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute automated test solutions for embedded software
* Support software integration, verification, and validation activities
* Work across the full software development lifecycle from implementation through to testing
* Analyse and diagnose software and communication issues
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure software quality and performance
* Support fault finding, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong background in Automated Testing
* Experience with Python scripting and test automation
* Embedded software testing experience
* Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
* CAN communication protocols
* CAPL scripting experience
* Experience carrying out FMEA activities
Desirable Experience:
* Reverse Engineering experience
