Our client is looking for a Warden Default Operative in the SR8 Region. The role mainly focuses on environmental enforcement support, clean-up operations, and property or land clearance. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Carry out environmental clean- ups including removal of fly- tipped waste, litter, bulky items, and other rubbish from public and private land. Safely collect, handle, and dispose of hazardous or specialist waste in line with environmental and health and safety regulations. Operate tools, vehicles, and equipment while following health and safety procedures and providing guidance to residents on proper waste disposal. Main Requirements:You may be required to drive a refuse removal van when picking up flytipping. Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and safe manual handling techniques. Ensure that you are being friendly with members of the public and representing the council in an orderly and professional manner. Happy working as a team and reporting to your supervisor. Previous experience is not required but is desirable. Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday (7am - 3pm)
