About the Role
As a Psychology Graduate, you’ll start by supporting pupils as a Learning Support Assistant, working closely with individuals and small groups to remove barriers to learning and boost student wellbeing. You’ll then progress with training into a Cover Supervisor role—delivering lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting learners when teachers are unavailable.
This role is ideal if you:

Key Responsibilities
Support learners one-to-one and in small groups, applying psychology knowledge to aid progress.
Promote inclusion, positive behaviour, and emotional wellbeing in class.
Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
Step into a Cover Supervisor role once trained, delivering pre-set lessons.
Adapt resources and approaches to meet individual learner needs, including SEN and SEMH.
Who We’re Looking For
A graduate with a 2:2 or above in Psychology (or a related discipline)
Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with young people
A positive, flexible mindset and eagerness to learn
Interest in education, behaviour, or mental health support
