Pullar House, Perth
This position of Social Worker is in a front line Children with Disabilities team. This team covers the entirety of the Perth and Kinross area and works with some of the most vulnerable children in our society.
The social work role will require you to hold a caseload which could vary from issues specific to child protection, Looked After children, Section 23 assessments, monitoring SDS packages and supporting vulnerable children, young people and their families in the community.
This role also involves writing a variety of reports and liaising with partner agencies to identify and meet need through the Child's Plan.
It is anticipated that interviews for this post will take place on Monday 3 November 2025.
Skills & Experience Required
* You must have a recognised qualification in Social Work.
* You must be registered as a Social Worker with the SSSC.
* You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
* Preferably you will have experience working with children who have Additional Needs and their families.
* You will be well-organised, able to prioritise and manage competing demands, assertive and clear in your communication.
* You will be able to demonstrate high standards in written reports and have a clear understanding of the needs of vulnerable children and families.
* You will have a commitment to continuous professional development.
