Senior Environmental Officer - Global Chemical Manufacturer near Blackpool: Up to £51.7k+ Package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Environmental Officer to join a leading Global Chemical Manufacturing Company based in Blackpool.
This permanent position is perfectly suited for Environmental professionals with a robust background in environmental management & sustainability within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Construction or Process Industries.

Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the Environmental Manager and Head of Sustainability with development and implementation of Sustainability action plans.
2. Accountable for delivery of emissions reduction in accordance with Carbon Footprint goals.
3. Accountable for data collection and reporting to assure compliance with ESG reporting requirements (including carbon and energy reporting).
4. Development and implementation of a company-wide Sustainability training and employee engagement scheme to support a behavioural and cultural change with regards to Sustainability issues.
5. Work with the Senior Quality Manager to deliver internal & external audit programme.
The schemes will cover the full spectrum from "hands on" with the operating team, to advising on strategic initiatives.
