Your new role
Working within the existing team, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
* Assisting with month-end close procedures
* Reconciling company credit cards and posting related invoices and payments
* Posting transactions and reconciling petty cash
* Processing employee expense claims
* Managing inter-company account recharges
* Preparing statistical reports for the Department of Finance and other key stakeholders
* Calculating, preparing, and filing VAT and Intrastat returns
What you'll need to succeed
This role is ideally suited for individuals who are part-qualified under a recognised professional accountancy body or are willing to commence their professional exams. Candidates should have at least two years of recent experience in a similar role within industry or a professional accountancy firm. Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication abilities, and a personable and approachable demeanour are essential.
