Are you an experienced Psychology Teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity in Birmingham?
Winner Education are working with a secondary school in Great Barr who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join them from September on a full-time basis for the full academic year. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, helping students prepare for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of student needs and learning styles
* Create a supportive, inclusive, and focused learning environment
* Support student progress and exam readiness for GCSE and A-Level Psychology
* Monitor and assess pupil performance, providing regular feedback and reports
* Work closely with the Head of Department to ensure curriculum standards are met
* Lead or support revision and intervention sessions when needed
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and progress
* Attend parent evenings and contribute to school life beyond the classroom
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Have recent experience teaching Psychology in a UK secondary school
* Be confident teaching GCSE and A-Level Psychology
* Hold QTS or a degree in Psychology with relevant teaching experience
* Have a good understanding of supporting students with additional needs (SEN)
* Show strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be flexible, professional, and a collaborative team member
