Overview
HomeServe are now recruiting for directly employed Gas Repair Engineers to join our team! At HomeServe we put the customers' experience at the forefront of everything we do. As a Gas Repair Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of gas appliances and central heating systems in our customers' homes. You will provide industry leading service and help us enhance our reputation, whilst driving customer growth. To help you settle in to your career at HomeServe, you will undertake our extensive training programme.
Responsibilities
* Undertake maintenance and repair work of gas appliances and central heating systems in customers\' homes.
* Provide industry leading service and help enhance HomeServe\'s reputation while driving customer growth.
* Complete our extensive training programme as part of your onboarding.
* Location-based onboarding and induction details (see on-boarding schedule below).
Onboarding / Training Details
* Week 1 – Attend our Head Office in Walsall, Monday to Friday, where we will cover all things HomeServe, health and safety and provide you with your tools and equipment.
* Week 2 – Buddied up with an experienced HomeServe Gas Repair Engineer. Where geographically appropriate we will pay for accommodation and meal allowance for your induction.
Qualifications
* CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1 (if successful, copies of your certificates must be provided).
* Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Excellent customer service.
* Proactive, can-do attitude.
* Keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
Location and Hours
Location: Melton Mowbray / Stamford / Oakham
Full Time – You will average 40 hours per week over the year (annualised hours). Includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work; pay will not change.
Salary
Salary: £44,900. Plus a £1500 guaranteed bonus in your first year.
