Kent Enablement at Home (KEaH) supports adults across Kent to regain independence, confidence and daily living skills following illness, hospital admission or changes in circumstances.
Our Business Support Officers (KSC) play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the service, providing essential administrative, care coordination and operational support to frontline Enablement teams.
This is a varied and fastpaced role, ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing competing priorities and supporting both professionals and people who use our services.
What youll be doing
As a Business Support Officer within KEaH, you will:
1. Provide highquality administrative and business support to Enablement operational teams
2. Support care coordination activity, helping to ensure the timely and accurate allocation, tracking and updating of enablement visits
3. Act as a key point of contact for professionals, partner agencies and people using our services
4. Manage telephone enquiries, shared mailboxes and service correspondence
5. Record, update and maintain accurate information across multiple IT systems
6. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and produce notes where required
7. Assist with financial and monitoring processes, including audits and routine data checks, in line with established procedures
8. Work closely with colleagues to support safe, effective and responsive service delivery

13. Understands the importance of accuracy in care coordination and recordkeeping
14. Works well as part of a team and is flexible in response to service needs
Experience in business support, administration or a carerelated environment is desirable, but training and support will be provided.

19. This role is considered a customerfacing position
20. Kent Enablement at Home operates between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday
21. A variety of fulltime and parttime shift patterns are available, and we will explore flexible options where possible to support different working needs, including core hours and outofhours working
22. Office locations across the county available including - Worrall House, Sessions, Kroner, Gravesend Civic Centre & Sittingbourne (Avenue of Remembrance, Swale Local Office)
23. Working hours, contractual basis and patterns of work will be discussed at interview, in line with service requirements
24. Appointment is subject to the usual preemployment checks
