As a Commercial Trainee, you will support the Quantity Surveying team, assisting with cost management, procurement, and commercial control of projects. Under the guidance of the Senior Commercial team, you will contribute to the sourcing of materials and plant, while gaining exposure to budgeting, cost reporting, and financial management across developments. If you do not already hold a relevant qualification you may also work towards a nationally recognised qualification with the Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship Key Responsibilities Comply with all Miller Homes policies and procedures and procurement plans Take off and preparing material schedules Expediting materials ordered as required Managing plant Processing requisition orders Bulk order information entry Material budget entry Material tender enquiries Maintenance of documentation library Day to day consumables for site General office duties for the Commercial team Resolving invoice queries in a timely manner ensuring, as far as possible, suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed trading terms.
