The Role:
Oxfam Great Britain is seeking a Senior Privacy Analyst to join our Data Protection team on a maternity cover until June 2025. This role is part of our growth as we raise awareness and promote culture change regarding data and data rights.
As a Senior Privacy Analyst, you will ensure compliance with data protection regulations, manage risks, handle data subject requests, provide expert advice, conduct privacy impact assessments, and deliver staff training. You will also help build a network of local data protection focal points to ensure consistent data protection practices.
Your work supports Oxfam’s mission to create a better world by protecting data rights and fighting injustices that fuel poverty.
What we are looking for:

Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience in a privacy or data protection role within a large organization.
* Proven track record managing data privacy projects, including privacy impact assessments and GDPR compliance.
* Experience advising stakeholders on data protection matters.
Knowledge of:
* Data protection laws, including GDPR.
* Information security principles.
* Ethical considerations in data privacy, especially in humanitarian contexts.
* Analytical skills to interpret legislation and develop policies.
* Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural teams.
* Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
