Job Title: Area Coordinator
Location: Dorset, UK
Contract: Permanent, Monday to Friday – Flexibility is essential, with early morning starts and occasional late finishes

The Area Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a full milk recording service in a defined area as allocated by the Senior Area Service Manager. This involves monthly visits to farms within Dorset, collecting event data about individual cows, and updating the NMR database.
The role may also involve taking milk samples from each cow as they are milked when required, supporting and providing the robot shuttle hire service, organizing, transporting, setting up, taking down, cleaning, and storing robot shuttles, as well as holiday cover and box deliveries/collections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Home-based role covering a wide area of farms, which could involve extensive driving.
* Data collection and entry into a custom software package.
* Coordinate collection of milk samples from farms.
* Organize and train self-employed samplers.
* Transport sample boxes/shuttles.
* Complete NMR robot shuttle recordings if required.
* Maintain high standards of data quality.
About you:
* Excellent time management skills.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and add value.
* Great attention to detail and accuracy.
* Fully PC literate.
* Milk recording and/or practical dairy farming experience is desirable.
Additional Information:
* A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
* Willingness to work early mornings when needed.
