Study Support / Cover Supervisor
We wish to appoint a well-organised and enthusiastic person to oversee timetabled classes during the absence of teachers. The role does not require teaching but involves supervising and supporting the learning of classes whose work has been set. Experience working with young people is an advantage, but training and support will be provided. This position is ideal for a graduate considering a future career in teaching.
The role will also include some administrative tasks and exam invigilation.
The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure & Barring Service and check against the ISA Barred List for Children, along with verification of the right to work in the UK.
Salary is on the BPS 5.15, £25,252 pro-rata for 32.5 hours per week over 5 days, term-time only + 10 days.
Working hours are 8.15 am to 3.15 pm daily.
