We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to support a 58-year-old woman with cerebral palsy and mobility challenges. This rewarding role involves helping her with daily tasks, enabling her to live independently while receiving the care she needs.
About the Role:
You will assist with a range of personal care duties, including helping her get up in the morning, showered, and dressed. You'll also support with light housework, meal prep, shopping, and ensuring her home is a safe, tidy space. Your role will involve providing companionship and assisting with social activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care: Helping with showering, dressing, and ensuring safety during daily tasks.
Household Support: Light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
Social Support: Assisting with social activities and ensuring a positive, engaging environment.
A caring and compassionate attitude.
A good sense of humour to help brighten her day.
Reliability, flexibility, and a positive approach to work.
A willingness to help with light housework and ensure a tidy home.
Requirements:
Enhanced PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check required.
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
