As a Project Manager within our Construction Direct Labour team, you’ll lead the successful delivery of replacement and reinforcement works across the South East - ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. ·Ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are followed and replacement projects are compliant with CDM regulations and delivered safely, on time and within budget.
·Achieving SGN’s strategic objectives
·Interpreting management information to ensure the delivery of targets in either Tier 1 / Tier 2 replacement, reinforcement and diversions (depending on experience)
·Focusing on the delivery of safety, performance, people, customers and environmental priorities
·Investigating, reviewing, and implementing new techniques to drive continual innovation and development
·Communicating effectively at all levels, including stakeholders, customers, local authorities and other external bodies
What you will need
·The ability to manage the effective and efficient running of the construction workload. Operational experience is therefore an essential requirement
·An analytical approach that will enable you to identify operational issues and implement effective and efficient solutions
·The skill and drive to successfully deliver depot targets whilst guiding behaviours to make our company the leading operator of gas networks in the UK
·A commitment to safety and the need to provide our customers with the very highest levels of service; you will have appropriate technical experience and qualifications to succeed at this level
·Previous management/supervisory level experience; good influencing, coaching and communication skills and the ability to always work with honesty and integrity
This post will involve travel and therefore a full valid driving license is essential.
