<div><p>Pay: £475.00-£500.00 per day</p><p>Day Rate: £475 - £500 (Inside IR35)</p><h3>Environment & Sustainability Manager</h3><p>Location: Suffolk (4 Days Per Week On Site)</p><p>Engagement: Ongoing Contract</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are recruiting for an experienced Environment & Sustainability Manager to support a major UK infrastructure project in Suffolk.</p><p>This is a leadership role responsible for environmental compliance, sustainability performance and regulatory engagement across a large-scale construction programme.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and develop a team of environmental professionals</li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental permits, licences and consents</li><li>Drive environmental and sustainability performance across site operations</li><li>Maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements</li><li>Manage environmental inspections, audits and monitoring programmes</li><li>Lead environmental investigations and improvement initiatives</li><li>Work closely with project teams, contractors and regulators</li><li>Support delivery of environmental commitments and sustainability objectives</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Degree qualified in an Environmental discipline</li><li>Extensive experience leading Environment & Sustainability teams on major construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities or engineering projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of environmental permits, licences and regulatory compliance
</li><li>Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001</li><li>Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience</li><li>Experience working within highly regulated environments</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Nuclear, energy, utilities, rail or major infrastructure experience</li><li>Client-side and principal contractor experience</li><li>Experience working with environmental regulators and public bodies</li><li>Sustainability programme leadership experience</li></ul><h3>Eligibility</h3><p>Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
