Purpose of Role
Are you a confident and organised individual with excellent customer service skills?
We are seeking a professional and reliable Receptionist to provide a high-quality front-of-house service within a busy office.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace.
Job Description
In this role, you will play a key part in creating a positive first impression, managing a variety of administrative tasks, and ensuring meeting rooms and office facilities are well organised and presented.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Responsibilities
1. Provide a professional front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and managing enquiries.
2. Answer and manage a busy switchboard, directing calls appropriately.
3. Coordinate and manage meeting rooms, including bookings and setup.
4. Arrange travel bookings as required.
5. Manage meeting room refreshments and ensure rooms are presented to a high standard.
6. Maintain office stationery supplies and place orders when required.
7. Support general administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
8. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is desirable.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Confident handling a busy switchboard and multiple tasks.
11. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
13. Professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
