Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Lower Key Stage 2? Milk Education is working with a supportive and welcoming primary school in Leeds seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join their team.
This is an exciting chance to inspire, motivate, and support pupils at a key stage in their educational journey — perfect for experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Role Details
1. Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00
2. Start Date: Flexible Start
3. Contract: Initially week-by-week, with potential for a long-term or permanent role
Your Role & Responsibilities
4. Teach and guide a Year 3 class through a fun, engaging, and well-structured curriculum
5. Plan and deliver lessons that inspire progress and curiosity
6. Mark work and set appropriate home learning tasks
7. Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND
8. Use positive behaviour management strategies
9. Uphold safeguarding, pastoral care, and school behaviour policies
10. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS
12. Experience or confidence teaching in Lower KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
13. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
14. A warm, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
15. Commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
16. ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
