The Peninsula Technology Assessment Group (PenTAG) at the University of Exeter is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF) in Health Technology Assessment (Clinical Evidence Review). If you're passionate about influencing high-profile healthcare decisions and driving impactful research, this is your chance to make a difference
The Role
You'll play a key role in evaluating health technologies (medicines, medical devices, diagnostics) for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and other leading agencies globally. You will lead clinical effectiveness evaluations in HTA appraisals, design and deliver systematic and rapid evidence reviews, and drive research leadership through staff development, publications, and grant capture.
Over time, you may also take on project management responsibilities and contribute to grants and publications, helping to shape the field of HTA, and public health. If you don't have a PhD yet, your publications could form the basis for a PhD by publication.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
* A strong background in experience insystematic review andcritical appraisal of clinical evidence.
* Expertise in critique of trial data, real-world evidence, evidence synthesis and qualitative data.
* Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex details clearly to diverse audiences.
* A passion for HTA, with a desire to build a research profile in your specific area of interest.
