We’re looking for a talented Associate to join our Criminal Compliance & Regulatory team and play a pivotal role in high-profile public inquiry work.
The Role
You’ll be joining one of the strongest teams specialising in regulatory work in the Midlands, acting for clients nationally. You’ll be expected to take on responsibility from the outset, supported by the supervision, training and guidance you need to maximise your potential. This is a genuine opportunity to become part of a successful and expanding unit, with the chance to get involved in marketing and growing the practice.
What you’ll be doing
* Advising a large public sector organisation in respect of a public inquiry and its responsibilities as a Core Participant and Material Provider
* Supporting the coordinated delivery of appropriate responses to Rule 9 requests sent by the Inquiry team
* Separately assisting in support of a major 4-month Inquest
* Advising on the disclosure of documents to a public inquiry and contributing to the wider CCR team on a range of challenging and varied regulatory matters.
What we’re looking for
* A flexible, ambitious and results-oriented lawyer who is an enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills — someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings energy and focus to everything they do.
* The ability to assimilate complex information quickly and accurately, with excellent attention to detail and a talent for explaining intricate procedures clearly to clients.
