Were seeking a qualified and accredited Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our integrated primary care mental health team at HMP Humber.As a PWP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, low-intensity cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, aligning with Step 2 IAPT guidelines.
Main duties of the job
* Conduct person-centred assessments, manage referrals, and support individuals in their self-management and recovery journeys.
* Deliver guided self-help in both 1:1 and group settings, drawing from CBT principles.
* Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, attending meetings, and contributing to step-up and step-down arrangements.
* Ensure accurate data entry and maintain high standards in clinical record-keeping and confidentiality.
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, upholding Rethink Mental Illness values.

Job responsibilities
Rethink Mental Illness work alongside Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHSFoundation Trust (TEWV) and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to deliver anintegrated stepped care mental health service within HMP Hull andHumber.
The team compromises a range of highly skilled professionals who workcollaboratively to provide the highest quality of care for those with mentalhealth needs within the prison and for Rethink Mental Illness employees, thisis carried out between 0800 1600 Monday to Friday.
As we work across both sites, there may be some travel involved, butthis will be done in work time and expenses paid to support servicedelivery.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Successfully completed academic course of study in line with the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and qualified as a PWP, e.g., Post Grad Diploma in Psychological Therapies.
* Accredited PWP, either BACP or BPS
* Post-qualification experience in offering and delivering the full range of evidence based IAPT low intensity interventions at Step 2.
