We have an exciting UK Communications Manager role that will play a key role in leading the delivery of communications and event requirements as well as raising the profile of Safran in the UK for external audiences. You will be based at our state of the art office in central London, working closely with our UK SLT. Your key focuses include leading communications initiatives that develop the visibility and reputation of Safran in the UK including through events, campaigns, media relations and social media in order to position the company as a leading UK player in aerospace and defence and support our development and recruitment needs. What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like? *Provide strategic leadership by initiating and overseeing the development and execution of the annual country communications plan, ensuring it aligns with the UK National Executive's vision and the Group's Corporate Communications strategy. *Lead communication initiatives and campaigns that promote Safran's brand and the attractiveness of the Group including on social media and lead the employee advocacy initiative in the UK. Work with the UK's communication network and other key stakeholders around the UK to develop campaigns and content relating to countrywide activities. Develop and deliver a range of content across multiple mediums including intranet, video, multimedia, web and print. *Utilise media relations expertise to cultivate strategic relationships with key journalists and implement a media relations plan, in coordination with the Group, to enhance Safran's reputation. *Take the lead or support the Group in planning and supporting key tradeshows and events in the UK, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. *Create high-quality presentation materials (including slide decks, brochures, infographics, videos) to support the Safran UK National Executive at conferences, events, and for ad-hoc communication needs (example Board member country visits). Ensure all communication tools are up to date, relevant, and aligned with Group standards to effectively represent Safran in the UK. *Apply professional expertise to ensure all communications deliverables meet the Group's branding standards and maintain message consistency nationwide. Oversee the review and validation of all external materials-including press releases, editorial content, audiovisual productions, web assets, employer branding, and UK social media-with Corporate Communications. Essential Skills *Ability to work autonomously and proactively to develop and deliver communication plans, campaigns, and projects from concept to completion *Skilled in relaying and coordinating communications requests with stakeholders at multiple levels (Group, Company, site) *External communications experience, with focus on press relations/social media in an industrial sector *Experience supporting senior executive-level stakeholders with communication requirements within a global, matrixed organization *Proven track record in creating impactful internal and external communication content across multiple mediums (print, video, press, etc.) *Design software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar. *Microsoft office including advanced PowerPoint. Desirable *Communications qualification or a related field - NVQ, Degree Level, CIPR or above. *Aerospace, Defence or technology related communications experience *Strong influencing skills and ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders *Confident in proactively proposing ideas, with a strong sense of anticipation *Ability to deliver multiple projects in parallel *Experience in developing impactful content both in-house and with the support of suppliers or agencies *Event planning and organization experience
