Job Description
Provide specialist HR support to the UK business, including multiple contracts. Responsible for ensuring a content and productive workforce where employees are empowered to meet established objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Manage compensation and benefits, including payroll.
4. Develop and monitor HR processes and procedures across the organization.
5. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
6. Manage company ERP system and recruitment tools.
7. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
8. Ensure legal compliance.
Key Accountabilities
1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise the employment of new employees.
2. Design and keep all HR-related policies, processes, and procedures up to date.
3. Monitor employee performance records to identify scope for improvement.
4. Shape and maintain a positive organizational culture.
5. Mediate in conflict resolution.
Requirements
Qualifications
* HR professional qualification preferable (CIPD L5 desirable).
* Degree educated preferred but not essential.
* Pragmatic and considered approach with strong attention to detail.
* Ideally experience of operating in the defense/aerospace sector or within a company with high standards of corporate governance and compliance.
* 5+ years of experience and understanding of HR fundamentals.
