Interaction Recruitment are looking for class 2 drivers for a distribution company based in slough. Your main duties will be loading and offloading of pallets do different locations surrounding High Wycombe.
Job description
* Carry out daily visual maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image
* Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to drivers hours and tachograph regulations
* Present tachograph for analysis as requested by depot management or statutory inspectors
* Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner
* Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business – usually 07:00 starts
Role requirements
* Qualifications / Experience required.
* Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience in a Class 2 vehicle
* Articulate, numerate and able to communicate effectively as some delivers will be hard to find. Good spoken English!
* Possession of appropriate and current licenses with no more than 6 penalty points
* Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks
* Smart and personally well presented.
* Must have held a Class 2 (C) licence and full UK drivers licence for a minimum of 2 years
