Maintenance Supervisor

Had Fab is looking for a skilled and hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to help keep our site running safely and efficiently. You’ll lead a small team of maintenance engineers and technicians, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and keep production moving.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure equipment, machinery, and facilities are well maintained and compliant. From daily supervision and technical support to driving continuous improvement, this role is key to maintaining reliability and performance across site operations.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and support the maintenance team, managing tasks, performance, and training
* Carry out and oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance across the site
* Respond quickly to breakdowns, finding and fixing root causes
* Deliver and track planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
* Maintain accurate digital maintenance records and reports
* Promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and risk assessments
* Support the Maintenance Manager with compliance, planning, and reporting
About You
* Proven experience leading or supervising a maintenance or engineering team
* Strong electrical and mechanical background (18th Edition essential)
* Skilled in PLC fault finding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading technical drawings
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Proactive approach with strong problem‑solving skills
* IOSH or NEBOSH Managing Safely preferred
* Experience with ISO standards (including ISO 1090) is an advantage
