Recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Further Education and Training College
We are currently seeking a Work Experience Officer to join a leading college team in Tottenham and guide students in gaining valuable industry experience. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in preparing young people for the world of work by building strong employer partnerships and facilitating meaningful placements.
Key Duties of a Work Experience Officer:
* Coordinate and manage work experience placements for students across a range of curriculum areas.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and industry partners.
* Match students to suitable work placements that align with their study programmes and career aspirations.
* Work with students before, during and after their placements to ensure a positive and safe experience.
* Monitor and record placement activity, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
* Promote employability skills and work-related learning throughout the college community.
* Willing and able to travel to and from the Tottenham campus, and any other campuses as required.
About the Ideal Work Experience Officer:
* Experience in employer engagement, careers advice or work placement coordination.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A proactive and student-focused approach.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety and Further Education and Training sector requirements would be advantageous.
