Arcus is recruiting two In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Wantage store on a permanent basis, at an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.
Shifts
Note: Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work.
* Position 1 - 36 hours per week
o Sunday: 05:00 to 11:30
o Monday: Day off
o Tuesday: 05:00 to 11:30
o Wednesday: 05:00 to 11:30
o Thursday: 05:00 to 11:30
o Friday: 05:00 to 11:30
o Saturday: 05:00 to 11:30
* Position 2 - 15 hours per week
o Sunday: 07:00 to 10:00
o Monday: Day off
o Tuesday: Day off
o Wednesday: 07:00 to 10:00
o Thursday: 07:00 to 10:00
o Friday: 07:00 to 10:00
o Saturday: 07:00 to 10:00
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
Responsibilities
Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsbury stores. Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
* Operating machinery
* Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to keep stores clean
* In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as required
* Occasionally working outside to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied
What you will need
* Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied
* An eye for detail and cleanliness
* A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
* Please note: you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App used for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
