Role Summary
The Admissions Office operates a hybrid model, requiring a minimum of two days a week on campus (Avery Hill) with the remainder of the week remote. The Admissions Officer joins a growing, diverse central Admissions team to make decisions, process applications and handle related email enquiries for the University of Greenwich.
Key Responsibilities
* Process large volumes of applications for admission, ensuring timely, accurate decisions consistent with agreed criteria.
* Handle email enquiries from prospective students, providing excellent customer service.
* Prioritise and work efficiently within a busy team environment, meeting internal and external deadlines.
* Maintain electronic records, using bespoke IT systems and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
* Create, organise and keep admissions records up‑to‑date.
* Support the strategic growth plan by contributing to recruitment cycle performance.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working flexibly in a fast‑paced team with high pressure to meet deadlines.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data.
* Good understanding of level 3 qualifications (training for UK and International qualifications is provided).
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering customer service.
Employment Information
Entry level, full‑time. Hybrid working model (minimum two days on campus). Travel to other campuses may be required.
Employment Visa: Under the UK Government Points‑Based System scheme this role does not meet the criteria to be sponsored for a Skilled Worker Route application.
