Due to an ever increasing workload, they are currently looking to recruit a Construction Procurement Support Professional for an initial 12 Month duration. The role would offer hybrid working with 2 days a week spent onsite in Stevenage OR Bolton and 3 days a week working from home. There is a rate of up to £40 Per hour Umbrella on offer for the successful candidate. Please find the job description below: • Provide support to the UK Construction procurement strategy with duties consisting but not limited too o Running & supporting Competitive Tender Events via the e-procurement Tool o Planning Tender Programmes and agreeing meeting dates with stakeholders o Supplier Sourcing for the UK Construction Category o Identify savings opportunities, capture & record Savings o Provide support to raise Purchase Orders during busy period o Support the Indirect UK Construction Team in preparing for Procurement Gate Reviews o Support Indirect Procurement Team with invoice queries • Lead low value/low complexity negotiations with suppliers to optimise cost, delivery and quality of products o Understand and be able to negotiate contract clauses such as pricing, delivery, liquidated damages, termination, insurance etc by using templates provided • Manage suppliers and where necessary build up longer term ...
