Support Worker Days – Barnsley

Currently, we are offering full-time shifts (37.5 hours) in Barnsley S71. Shifts are 7.5 hours, including a mix of Early (07:30-15:00) and Late (14:30-22:00) shifts. You will be required to work 3 weekends out of 4.

We seek individuals committed to developing their professional skills, supported by training in safeguarding, communication, and the opportunity to complete the Care Certificate and NVQ in Adult Care.

What we are looking for in candidates

* Ability to work as part of a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
Responsibilities as a Residential Support Worker
* Supporting adults with complex needs to promote independence and positive outcomes
* Engaging in activities, cooking, personal care, and community interactions
* Providing practical and emotional support to help individuals achieve their goals
* Participating in planning and coordinating activities
* Implementing support plans and working with other agencies
* Completing records and documentation to regulatory standards
Due to the nature of our work with vulnerable adults, this role requires an enhanced DBS check.
