Hybrid: 21 hours over 3 days, in‑office Mondays, Friday non‑working.
Driving licence required.
Overview
On behalf of a local council we seek a Property Solicitor experienced in Right to Buy matters, buy‑backs, consent orders, sale and purchase of properties, Assets of Community Value applications and lease extensions/renewals. Excellent client rapport and familiarity with IKEN or a similar Case Management System are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle Right to Buy property matters and buy‑back transactions.
* Draft, review and complete consent orders.
* Manage sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties.
* Deal with Assets of Community Value (ACV) applications.
* Oversee lease extensions, renewals and general landlord/tenant matters.
* Provide clear, practical advice to internal clients and council stakeholders.
* Maintain meticulous records using IKEN or a similar Case Management System.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Current Practising Certificate (Solicitor or Legal Executive).
* Sound experience in Right to Buy, buy‑backs, consent orders, sale and purchase of properties, ACV applications, lease extensions and renewals.
* Excellent client rapport.
* Experience with IKEN or a similar Case Management System.
* Driving licence required.
