Workshop Controller Location: London Salary: Up to £45,000 up to £5,000 bonus OTE Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm 1 in 4 Saturdays (7am-12pm) ISQ Recruitment are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join a well‑established commercial vehicle dealership in London. This is a key position within a high‑performing Commercial Vehicle service team, responsible for managing and coordinating the daily job flow within a busy workshop environment. The role would suit a highly organised individual with proven experience in a Light Commercial Vehicle workshop, strong technical understanding, and the ability to communicate effectively across all departments. Key Responsibilities Allocate repair and service work to technicians based on skills and workshop capacity. Ensure all repairs and maintenance work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards. Manage the daily loading of the workshop to maximise productivity. Maintain high standards of documentation accuracy and warranty compliance. Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. Oversee tooling, equipment and calibration requirements. Assist the Service Manager and Technical Manager with operational oversight. Motivate and support the workshop team to achieve performance targets. Maintain strong communication between workshop, parts, and service teams. Ensure customers receive excellent service and support CXM satisfaction targets. Experience & Skills Required The ideal candidate will bring: Proven experience as a Workshop Controller within the Light Commercial Vehicle sector. Solid technical knowledge of commercial vehicles. Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures within an automotive environment. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Ability to multitask and manage a fast‑paced workload. Effective problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused approach. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
