Candidate Requirements
The successful applicant will be a skilled, effective teacher committed to experiential learning, with the ability to engage all young people in effective learning and manage positive behaviour. We seek someone who demonstrates warmth and mutual respect in relationships with young people, families, and colleagues. Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the capacity for leadership and teamwork.
Additional Information
Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
