2nd Shift-HVAC Assembler

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled HVAC Assembler to join our team in Windsor, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling refrigeration systems on air conditioning units using a variety of specialized tools. If you have experience in HVAC assembly and enjoy working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assemble refrigeration components to specifications using tools such as pipe cutters, pipe benders, oxy‑propane welding sets, flaring tools, taps, and drills.
* Perform pressure and leak testing on completed assemblies.
* Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and sketches.
* Maintain a clean and organized individual work area.
* Keep a daily time log of work completed using manufacturing or production travelers.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in assembling industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
* Skilled in soldering and working with copper fittings.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use measuring tools such as a scale or tape measure.
Other Skills and Abilities:
* Basic computer skills preferred.
Education and Certifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
