About the Company: My client are a Main Contractor who specialize in the Commercial, Industrial and Data Centre Space.
About the Role: They are looking to add to their team in their St Albans Head Office, salary is based on Experience.
Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Lead and manage design projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
* Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product engineering teams to ensure designs resonate with target audiences and meet business objectives.
* Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's goals and market trends.
* Quality Assurance: Review and approve design concepts, prototypes, and final products to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
* Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding design-related communications, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Qualifications:
* Education: A bachelor’s degree in architecture, or a related field is to an advantage.
* Experience: Significant experience in design and project management, ideally 5 or more years, including leadership roles.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD) and strong project management skills.
Required Skills:
* Leadership: Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
* Creativity: Innovative thinking to develop unique design solutions that meet client needs and market demands.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to identify design-related issues and implement effective solutions to prevent delays and cost overruns.

Pay range and compensation package: Salary is based on Experience.
